MECHANICAL ENGINEER Introduction We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing technology company developing an innovative product in an environment where design and execution are tightly connected. As part of the expansion of its technical team, our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who can contribute both to design and hands-on prototyping. This role is key to supporting multiple technical projects and strengthening the team’s execution capabilities.

Mission Key Responsibilities • Design and develop mechanical systems for technical products • Produce detailed drawings, assemblies, and technical documentation • Perform thermal analysis and simulations (CFD) • Optimize designs based on real-world constraints and performance requirements • Prepare and maintain mechanical BOMs • Assemble and iterate on prototypes • Contribute to demo units and technical setups • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of autonomy Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks • Experience with thermal modeling and CFD • Proficiency with a 2D CAD tool • Experience with BOM generation and product design • Good understanding of applied mechanical systems Approach • Highly hands-on profile • Comfortable with prototyping and assembly work • Autonomous and resourceful • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Comfortable working in a startup environment Your profile Experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design • Experience in a technical or industrial environment • Hands-on project experience (e.g., SAE / Baja) is a strong asset • OIQ membership is considered an asset Languages • Professional English required (regular interaction with North American partners) • French is an asset Conditions • Salary starting from $80,000 annually • 4 weeks of vacation • Hybrid work environment • Comprehensive benefits • Performance-based bonus potential Other openings that may pick your interest
