Our client is a leading engineering contractor delivering large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Mission Critical projects across Europe.


Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a major Data Centre project in Denmark. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their career while working on one of Europe's most advanced engineering projects.


The successful candidate will work closely with project management, design teams, subcontractors and commissioning teams to coordinate mechanical installations from design through to commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities:


Coordinate mechanical engineering activities throughout project delivery


Review design documentation, drawings and technical specifications


Prepare and manage technical submittals and RFIs


Assist with procurement activities and material management


Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders


Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives


Attend technical and project coordination meetings


Monitor installation quality and carry out inspections and system walkdowns


Prepare method statements and risk assessments


Manage test packs and support commissioning activities


Assist with project reporting, progress tracking and document control


Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project requirements


Requirements:


Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification


4+ years' experience working with a mechanical contractor


Experience delivering Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre or Mission Critical projects


Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems


Experience preparing technical submittals and coordinating design activities


Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation


Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery processes
