Day-to-day, you’ll be required to: Apply engineering knowledge to produce and review technical outputs, including calculations, reports, specifications, and method statements. Conduct investigations and analyses to resolve technical challenges and support design improvements.

Interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring correct application of procedures, codes, and standards. Deliver assigned tasks or packages of work, planning effectively and managing risks to meet time, cost, and quality requirements. Support and guide less experienced engineers while contributing to continuous improvement across engineering practices Essential experience of the Mechanical Engineer: Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Broad engineering experience across a range of project types or tasks. Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with various disciplines and stakeholders. Post‑qualification industry experience.

Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer: HND qualification as a minimum.
