About the Company The Marketing Manager – India will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to accelerate market creation, demand generation, customer engagement, and brand positioning for our client’s portfolio across Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT), Bioprocessing, Advanced Research Solutions, and Translational Medicine. This role will act as a strategic business partner to the India commercial organization and global marketing teams, driving the organization’s transition from product-led selling to solution-oriented and ecosystem-based engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for developing deep market intelligence, enabling commercial excellence, influencing customer adoption pathways, and building our client’s leadership position within India’s rapidly evolving biotech and advanced therapies ecosystem.

About the Role The Marketing Manager – India will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to accelerate market creation, demand generation, customer engagement, and brand positioning for our client’s portfolio. Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Market Development Develop and execute India-specific strategic marketing plans aligned with global business priorities and regional growth objectives Identify and evaluate high-growth opportunities across: Cell & Gene Therapy Bioprocessing Academic & Translational Research Biopharma manufacturing CDMO and GMP ecosystems Drive market development initiatives in emerging therapy and research areas Partner with commercial leadership to define and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies Support strategic account planning and long-term market penetration initiatives Analyze market trends, customer adoption patterns, funding landscapes, and competitive movements to shape business strategy Portfolio & Product Management Own portfolio strategy and commercial positioning across assigned product lines and solution areas Manage the complete product lifecycle: portfolio planning launch readiness growth acceleration maturity optimization phase-out management Translate global value propositions into India-relevant customer messaging and differentiated positioning Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to localize campaigns, product positioning, and customer engagement frameworks Partner with sales and application teams to identify whitespace opportunities and portfolio expansion areas Voice of Customer (VoC) & Market Insights Establish structured Voice of Customer (VoC) programs to continuously capture customer needs, adoption barriers, and market expectations Lead: customer segmentation market mapping competitive benchmarking account intelligence generation Develop actionable insights to influence: pricing strategy portfolio prioritization customer experience commercial effectiveness Build deep understanding of customer workflows, buying journeys, and scientific decision-making processes Product Launch Excellence Lead end-to-end launch execution for new products and solutions in India Develop launch strategies covering: market readiness customer targeting demand generation KOL advocacy channel activation Coordinate cross-functional launch execution across: sales applications service operations regulatory stakeholders Monitor launch effectiveness and optimize post-launch adoption strategies Demand Generation & Brand Building Design and execute integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across: digital platforms scientific conferences webinars workshops KOL-led educational initiatives Build visibility and thought leadership within India’s biotech and CGT ecosystem Develop scientific storytelling and value-based messaging tailored to multiple customer segments Drive lead generation, nurture programs, and funnel conversion initiatives in partnership with sales teams Support development of customer success stories, scientific publications, and advocacy programs CRM, Commercial Excellence & Marketing Analytics Drive adoption and optimization of CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) Establish marketing KPIs and dashboards to monitor: lead quality pipeline progression conversion effectiveness campaign ROI customer engagement metrics Enable data-driven decision-making through structured reporting and analytics Support forecasting and demand planning through market intelligence and funnel analysis Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration Partner closely with: Sales Application Scientists Service teams Global Marketing Regulatory and Operations teams Ensure seamless execution of integrated customer engagement strategies Act as a key bridge between global strategy and local market execution Support capability building and marketing excellence within the India organization
