Key Responsibilities

1. PR, Media, Partnerships & Influencer Relations

  • Influencer Gifting & Seeding: Design, pitch, and manage influencer campaigns. Build and maintain relationships with local Vancouver and North American food and lifestyle creators, coordinate product gifting, and track campaign performance.
  • Media & PR Outreach: Build relationships with journalists, editors, food critics, BIAs, and local organizations. Coordinate press releases, media tastings, launch events, interviews, and ongoing PR opportunities.
  • Community Partnerships: Develop relationships with local businesses, community organizations, charities, BIAs, hotels, residential buildings, and corporate partners to create collaborative marketing opportunities.
  • Brand Advocacy: Turn customers, creators, and local businesses into long-term advocates through meaningful engagement.
  • Third-Party Platform & Vendor Management: Own relationships with external platforms and marketing vendors, managing onboarding, performance reviews, and day-to-day communication.

2. Content Production & Community Management

  • Creative Production Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for photographers, videographers, graphic designers, copywriters, printers, and other creative partners. Develop creative briefs, coordinate production schedules, review deliverables, and ensure consistent brand execution.
  • Digital Content Planning: Manage the content calendar and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and other digital channels.
  • Community Management: Respond to comments, direct messages, reviews, and customer inquiries while maintaining Ignite's approachable, hospitality-first tone.
  • Content Capture: Capture behind-the-scenes content, restaurant moments, team culture, and daily operations to support authentic social storytelling.

3. Email Marketing & CRM

  • Email Marketing: Write, build, and launch customer and B2B email campaigns while optimizing audience segmentation, automated journeys, and performance.
  • Lead Nurturing: Support customer retention and corporate catering initiatives through targeted email marketing and CRM management.

4. Events & Brand Activations

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Support the planning and execution of grand openings, community events, media tastings, influencer experiences, sponsorships, festivals, corporate activations, and pop-ups.
  • Experiential Marketing: Help develop memorable brand experiences that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and community engagement for both Ignite Pizzeria and Gaia Oliva.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work closely with venues, suppliers, agencies, entertainers, rental companies, photographers, and production partners to ensure seamless execution.

5. Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Agency & Vendor Coordination: Manage day-to-day communication with paid media contractors, web developers, designers, photographers, videographers, printers, signage companies, and other external partners across both brands.
  • Operational Alignment: Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure promotions align with in-store execution, menus, signage, and customer experience.
  • Internal Communication: Keep project timelines, campaign documentation, and stakeholder communication organized and up to date.
  • Performance Reporting: Track campaign performance across email, social media, PR, partnerships, and digital marketing, preparing monthly reports and recommendations.

Who You Are

  • A Natural Connector: You love meeting people, pitching ideas, and nurturing relationships with influencers, media partners, and corporate clients.
  • A Storyteller and Writer: You have exceptional copywriting skills. You can write a punchy Instagram caption, a professional B2B email pitch, and an engaging customer newsletter.
  • Highly Organized: You excel at managing project timelines, tracking creator deliverables, and making sure freelancers hit their deadlines.
  • AI-Fluent: You leverage AI tools daily to supercharge your copywriting (newsletters, pitches), analyze customer sentiment, and optimize your workflows.
  • Local to Vancouver: Able to visit our locations (Gastown, Yaletown, Mount Pleasant, South Surrey, and soon North Vancouver) for on-site content capture.
  • Comfortable Managing Creative Partners: You're confident briefing photographers, designers, developers, videographers, agencies, and other external specialists, providing constructive feedback and keeping projects moving.
