Market Medical Director VP, Market Medical Practice

Cityblock Health is seeking a VP, Market Medical Director to co-lead our North Carolina market, overseeing clinical strategy, care delivery, provider performance, and total cost of care outcomes for Medicaid and Medicare members.

What I lead:

• Strategy execution, clinical operations & quality improvement
• Interdisciplinary team oversight (PCPs, APPs, BH, CHWs, RN care managers)
• Clinical innovation across primary care, BH, palliative care, and transitions
• Partner engagement with health plans, CBOs, networks & hospitals
• Provider credentialing, training, documentation, and risk management
• Direct clinical care to a panel of members with complex needs

Role requirements:

• MD/DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine, licensed in NC
• Leadership experience in value-based care & Medicaid populations
• Proven success managing clinical teams across geographic regions
• Skilled in EMR, data analytics, and performance management
• Deep commitment to health equity, team diversity & community impact
• Experience in integrating behavioral and physical health
• Strong collaborator and strategic thinker with a passion for innovation
