Job Description Job Description ✈️ Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer | Aerospace Manufacturing Sky Limit Systems is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer that’s investing in smarter processes, better tools, and stronger teams — and they’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help drive that change. This is a full-time, onsite role for a mechanically inclined problem-solver who thrives on the production floor. You’ll design tooling and fixtures, lead continuous improvement projects, and play a key role in building a leaner, more efficient operation.

What You’ll Do: Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing flow Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput, and cost savings Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production challenges Document standard work procedures and support lean transformation efforts across the floor Oversee small to mid-scale improvement projects from concept through implementation Serve as a technical mentor and potential future leader within the manufacturing team What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience building or designing tooling and fixtures Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies Excellent communication, organization, and leadership potential Ability to thrive in a non-lean environment and drive measurable improvements Someone eager to learn every part of the operation and grow into a supervisory or lead role Why This Opportunity: This role is for an engineer who doesn’t just want to maintain — but to build, improve, and lead.
