Your role In this role you will play a key role in: Lead on developing MOD Capability and Acquisition knowledge across the MOD account Lead Capability Delivery on MOD Programmes Supporting clients in establishing and coordinating Capability Integration Working Groups (CIWGs) and developing governance arrangements with Defence Lines of Development (DLOD) owners Supporting clients to establish Requirements frameworks on Programmes in line with the MOD approach to Requirements Management, including creation of Requirements documents – e.g.
URD, SRD, ITEAP, RAMS Engaging with Capability sponsors and end users to shape requirements, benefits and understand user journeys (As Is – To Be state mapping) We are looking for a mid‑senior level candidate at either Senior Consultant or Managing Consultant level, dependent on experience. Your profile Experience in the Defence sector, MOD, wider Defence consultancies or Defence suppliers MOD Capability Acquisition experience on Major Defence Programmes, across the CADMID cycle Knowledge and understanding of Requirements Management processes, frameworks and artefacts within MOD Currently working in a major consulting firm, or in industry with a consulting background and proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions Experience of proposition building and delivery Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre‑existing relationships, company relationships and your own network Desirable Domain/process knowledge of Air/RAF, Defence Digital, DE&S, DNO, Dstl Completion of MOD CAPAC training Knowledge and understanding of Defence approach to Change & Benefits Management Benefits Remuneration package includes flexible benefits options and a variable element dependent on grade, company performance and personal performance Flexible and hybrid working arrangements – all UK employees can request flexible working Support for personal and professional growth through business development, internal contribution and learning & development programmes We are a disability confident employer Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government's Disability Confident scheme.
