Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Oversee daily operations of the labor and delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in maternal and neonatal care. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Monitor patient outcomes, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. Candidate requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience in Labor & Delivery. Progressive leadership experience preferred.

BSN is required, and MSN or a master's degree in a related field is preferred. Texas State RN license or compact license accepted. National Specialty Certification or a plan to achieve it within 1 year of hire.
