Role Overview The Project Finance Executive is responsible for managing project finances, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, compliance, and client coordination to ensure smooth financial operations across projects.
This role works closely with Project Managers, Vendors, Clients, and internal stakeholders to maintain financial discipline, ensure timely billing and payments, and support project profitability through accurate reporting and financial controls. You are someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and execution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes. Key Responsibilities Project Finance • Develop and maintain cash flow projections for ongoing projects. • Compile and organize data required for project audits. • Implement and manage project payment trackers. • Monitor project profitability and generate Project Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. • Process and track project-related receipts.
Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ensure accurate documentation of tax invoices and Purchase Orders (POs). • Manage project-related creditor aging and debtor aging. • Oversee accounts payable payments and maintain payment tracker sheets. • Handle debtor ledger confirmations and project retention claims. Financial Planning & Reporting • Develop and maintain billing models to support project financial planning. • Implement and manage cost center activities and month-end financial closing processes. • Generate financial reports, including client master lists and SEZ sales invoice endorsements. • Track and manage project advances. Compliance & Documentation • Ensure compliance with TDS regulations and provide TDS certificates as required. • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, including creditors-related documentation. • Compile and organize financial records and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
Client Interaction • Facilitate communication with clients regarding billing, receipts, and project-related financial matters. • Handle client queries and provide necessary financial information. • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. • Proven experience in Project Finance and Accounts Management. • Strong understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance. • Strong negotiation, sequencing, and vendor management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
