Job Description

Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and support of productivity applications and operational systems, while guiding teams, managing vendors and advising stakeholders to advance innovation and operational excellence. Qualifications – Essential A post‑secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Proven leadership in IT service planning, technology procurement or management. Demonstrated experience in project delivery, vendor management and financial oversight, including business cases and budgeting. Experience leading service planning and or delivery teams, coaching, mentoring and performance management of staff.

Experience designing and reporting against performance measures. Knowledge of emerging technologies and their implications for government service delivery. Experience with IT service level agreements (SLAs) and performance management.

Strong political acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Desired – Additional Experience in project management, encompassing risk management, resource allocation and the development and oversight of project plans and reports.
