About the Role:

As a Manager, Product Engineering you will lead a team of Product Owners supporting Agile (Scrum) development teams within the T-Mobile for Business organization, primarily aligned to the India hub. The Manager, Product Owner is responsible for both people leadership and establishing Product Owner practices, standards, and consistency across teams, with influence extending to the broader TFB organization. This role ensures high-quality backlog management, effective Agile execution, and strong alignment to product strategy and business outcomes.

The position partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive delivery excellence across distributed teams, including employees and contractors. Success is measured by Product Owner effectiveness, business delivery outcomes, and the growth and performance of the Product Owner team.

• Lead and develop the product owner team (people leadership)
• Own product owner practices & standards (capability leadership)

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree plus 5 years related work experience OR advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering, IT or related fields.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience into product management in Agile environment.
• 12-15 years of total experience with 2-3 years as manager/ sr. manager.

Must Have Skills:

• Knowledge in software with Agile scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.
• Strong proven technical writing skills and the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
• Experience with Agile background/project management tools.
• Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives.
• Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with leadership while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
• Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps team can ingest.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data.
