Manager, PayPlan Operational Support

  • Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days on site)
  • Pay Rate: $47.60/hr - $56.21/hr
  • Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension

We at Raise are hiring a Manager, PayPlan Operational Support for one of our top clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Execute routine supplier‐related administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
  • Production Support: Manage and triage incoming support tickets, prioritizing by severity and business impact.
  • COB Controls: Monitor and maintain COB control procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Exception File Review: Identify, assess, and triage exception files; escalate issues as needed.
  • VC GL Reconciliation: Perform general ledger reconciliation activities for virtual card accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • VC Operations: Execute ad‑hoc operational tasks for virtual card management.
  • UAT Testing: Conduct user acceptance testing for new merchant onboarding functionality; document findings and defects.

Must‑Have Skills

  • Operations experience
  • Handle customer support calls and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and client issues professionally.
  • Soft skills: Curious, wants to learn collaboratively, use strong customer service and good communication skills to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Strong customer‑facing experience: Troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and effectively navigate internal systems to resolve customer concerns.
  • Demonstrate strong product support knowledge along with excellent Excel skills, customer‑facing abilities, and a proactive, intuitive approach.
  • Quick learner with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • UAT testing experience
