Joblin Partners is proud to be partnering with a leading underground metalliferous mining operations in Queensland to recruit a Manager HSECR.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager and as a key member of the SLT, you will lead a large Health, Safety, Environment, Community and Risk team at a high profile Queensland mining operation with a strong focus on growth, continuous improvement and innovation.
The operation presents both scale and complexity — requiring a leader who thrives in challenging environments. We are looking for a professional who can engage the team and operation, bring change and lead from the front to ensure best practice and be an industry leader across HSECR.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large HSECR team- continuously supporting positive culture, capability development, openness to change and improvements
- Work with the SLT and across the mining operation to influence and drive best practice
- Seek opportunities to innovate and continuously improve across the HSECR disciplines
- Provide the highest standards of advice across HSECR
- Maintain relationships with regulators and familiarity relevant legislation
About You
- Demonstrated success leading HS&E departments/ teams in complex mining environments
- Strong focus on innovation, culture, and capability development
- Proven ability to drive change while maintaining engagement
- Experience in underground hardrock mining will be well regarded however this is role focused on leadership, innovation and culture. As such experience in other mining commodities and methods are encouraged to apply/ enquire
