Manager Engineering

Lead a dynamic team as a Senior Manager of Engineering. Oversee code development, technical analysis, and team management in a full-time position from Monday to Friday. In this full-time role, reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering and Regulations, you'll manage a team of specialists in Code, Utility Regulations, and Powerline Safety. Your responsibilities will include hiring, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews, ensuring all engineering deliverables are met. You will also lead complex engineering analyses, develop the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and maintain compliance within the organization. Key Responsibilities:- Manage team hiring, training, and performance reviews- Oversee Ontario Electrical Safety Code development- Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders- Support safety initiatives to reduce powerline contacts- Conduct complex engineering analyses and produce relevant documents

Requirements:- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent- 8-10 years of industry experience, 3 years in management- Supervisory experience leading specialist teams- Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code and electrical theory- Proficient in MS Office applications Drive engineering excellence with your leadership and technical expertise in this pivotal role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
