Overview of the role
Saputo Dairy Products Canada is looking for a Manager, Finance & Administration for our Quebec facilities. The role is primarily responsible for the finance and administration of Warehouse and Distribution in the Québec region, including inventory management, internal and external audit, operations compliance, maintenance and management of financial reports, scorecards, KPI’s, payroll, supplier/vendor relations and adherence to Company policy and procedure.
How you will make contributions that matter
- Manage and control the duties and responsibilities of Inventory Control, Route Settlement, Accounts Payable and Payroll to agreed levels of performance and expectations.
- Meet warehouse and distribution operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; overseeing annual budget; scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by developing strategies and recommendations to leverage efficiencies, minimize costs and contribute to the warehouse profitability; ensure that losses to the company are kept to a minimum.
- Ensure customer service is to the highest standard.
- Development and mentoring of teams to ensure department and company goals are met.
- Support and promote the company’s core values.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent education in operations management, business, transportation, logistics or warehousing is an asset.
- 5 to 7 years of management experience in mid‑to‑large warehousing or distribution environment.
- Full understanding of inventory management techniques and their impact on the business.
- Strong leadership, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deadline‑oriented, detailed and organized with exceptional analytical skills.
- Able to cultivate a positive and innovative work environment.
- Must be highly motivated to provide superior service to our customers.
- High level of self‑motivation with ability to take initiative.
- Proficient and dependable in current position.
- Manhattan experience an asset.
Salary
92 795$ – 121 795$ (Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training).
