Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting

LHH is partnered with a privately held, stable organization to identify an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager!

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Support regulatory filings, annual reporting requirements, audits, and other compliance-related initiatives.
• Manage contract-related accounting activities, reporting obligations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review employee expense reports, oversee select corporate insurance programs, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Partner with the accounting team on special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and departmental support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
• Strong experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation is required
• CPA preferred but not required
• Financial services or insurance experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders
