About the Role
This newly created role sits at the heart of the finance function, giving you real ownership over how the business's accounting systems run day to day. You'll lead the current ERP upgrade from the ground up, streamline accounts payable and receivable, and bring greater visibility to stock and work-in-progress reporting. Each month, you'll be central to closing the books — reconciling key ledger accounts and building the numbers that inform decisions at the top table.
Come year-end, you'll help shape the full picture, from stocktake through to the final financial statements ready for audit.
About You
You've built a strong foundation in accounting — whether through a formal qualification or several years in a financial management seat — and you're just as comfortable in the detail of a costing system as you are explaining it to others. Manufacturing or heavy industry experience is a real advantage, particularly if you've worked through an ERP implementation before. What matters most is how you operate: organised, hands-on, quick to spot what needs fixing, and confident managing people and priorities at once.
