About the company

A well-established and growing business in the County Antrim area are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a broad and varied role with responsibility for management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, alongside supporting year-end reporting and wider finance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance stakeholders and gain excellent exposure across the wider business.

This represents a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant seeking to develop their career within an established organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Preparation of accruals and prepayments
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Supporting year-end accounts and external audit
• Preparation of relevant financial returns
• Supporting finance process improvements
• Involvement in wider finance projects
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience preparing management accounts
• Strong financial analysis experience
• Excellent Excel and IT skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Part or fully qualified accountant desirable
