Maintenance Technician

My client is a highly respected and established engineering company based in Suffolk. Following internal promotions, they are now seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their experienced team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the key duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

Responsibilities

• 12‑hour day shifts on a Panama / 2’s & 3’s rotation (every other weekend off).
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
• Carry out scheduled PPM to maintain plant reliability.
• Complete electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of equipment.
• Work collaboratively with production and other departments to support site performance and company goals.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have worked as a Maintenance Technician / Shift Engineer / Shift Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer (or similar) and have experience and the relevant qualifications with Mechanical / Electrical engineering (or equivalent).
