Salary: €45,000
At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Maintenance Technician with experience in the Food industry to join our client’s growing team based in North Dublin. Your new role includes:
- Performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment such as (baggers, packers, washline equipment) to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborating with production staff to schedule maintenance activities minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
- Inspecting equipment regularly to identify problems or potential failures and take corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and inspection results.
Experience you need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in maintenance within the food manufacturing industry
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical knowledge/ experience extremely beneficial
- Flexibility to work shifts/ weekends is required
