Reporting to the Plant Director, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the Maintenance and Thermal Power teams in order to support operations and structure the plant’s overall approach to achieving equipment performance. The role involves defining and deploying operational excellence approaches, methodologies, and tools to create added value with the teams. The Maintenance Director is responsible for the preparation, design, and execution of projects with their teams; for contributing to and rolling out the plant’s reliability, innovation, and productivity strategies; for carrying out capital investments at the plant; and for establishing internal customer–supplier standards.

The role also involves supporting Operations Managers and the Maintenance team on the floor in the implementation of performance projects (visual management boards, DMS, projects, continuous improvement, KPIs, and RCA), as well as sharing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to capitalize on employee know-how. What you will take ownership of on a daily basis The Maintenance Manager Will Have The Following Main Responsibilities Plan, organize, lead, and control capital and regular maintenance budgets with the Maintenance team and Operations Managers Develop, manage, and/or coordinate improvement, corrective, and/or equipment replacement projects Ensure the Maintenance team is effective and supported within the continuous improvement process (morning planning process, process control, performance indicators, GUIDE TI tracking) Optimize labor utilization. Promote autonomy and organizational efficiency within Maintenance and Engineering Engage and supervise, with the teams, external contractors for the execution of certain work Manage the customer–supplier process and ensure optimization of budget envelopes Ensure the implementation of the Plant Management Committee’s values Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations when implementing standards and during maintenance projects Initiate, develop, supervise, and improve plant automation to maximize operational efficiency based on key performance indicators Initiate, develop, supervise, and enhance the Engineering and Maintenance performance program, and monitor key performance indicators (expenses, labor, preventive and corrective work orders, workplace inspections, energy consumption, etc.) Manage performance indicators (labor cost, efficiency, availability, schedule adherence) and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery of expected objectives Actively participate in the development and execution of the plant’s strategic plan The Profile That Can Truly Own The Role Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automation & Control) or another relevant field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the food or pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of GMPs and maintenance management software (CMMS/GMAO). Technical experience in automation, networks, electrical systems, instrumentation, and control.
