Freelance Maintenance Engineer / Technician - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

I'm currently supporting a pharmaceutical organisation looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Technician to support the Maintenance and Project teams on an ongoing manufacturing project at their site in Strasbourg.

The consultant will provide hands-on support across maintenance and project implementation activities, including utilities and HVAC systems, equipment installation/start-up, punch list follow-up and the preparation of methods and SOPs for new equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support both Maintenance and Project teams across the KZILX project
  • Perform lockout/tagout activities across equipment, utilities and HVAC systems
  • Track punch list items and ensure actions are progressed through to resolution
  • Support implementation activities including equipment connections, replacements and installation/start-up
  • Prepare maintenance methods and SOPs for new equipment based on technical documentation
  • Support the introduction and implementation of new equipment within the manufacturing environment
  • Coordinate with relevant project and maintenance stakeholders to ensure outstanding technical actions are completed

Key Requirements

  • Previous Maintenance Engineer/Technician experience within an industrial or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • BR/BC electrical authorization training required
  • Experience performing lockout/tagout activities
  • Experience working with utilities and HVAC systems
  • Hands-on experience with equipment installation, connections, replacement and start-up activities
  • Experience tracking punch lists and technical actions through to resolution
  • Ability to prepare methods and SOPs from equipment technical documentation
  • Available to work 5 days per week onsite in Strasbourg
