Silverdale, NSWMonday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pmFull-Time PositionQuick Built Systems is looking for a Machine Operator / Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at our Silverdale factory.We manufacture a range of building products including insulated roofing panels, acoustic fencing and modular kit homes.
ABOUT THE ROLEYou will work alongside our Lead Hand assisting with the operation of our roll-forming and production machinery while also helping across general factory production.Day-to-day duties includeAssisting with the setup and operation of machineryAssisting our Lead Hand with roll-forming and productionGeneral factory and manufacturing dutiesWrapping and packing completed jobsPreparing orders for dispatch and deliveryAssisting with loading jobs onto trucksKeeping the factory and work areas clean and organised
ABOUT YOUWe are looking for someone who isMechanically minded and confident working around machineryReliable, punctual and hardworkingHands-on and willing to learnAble to work well as part of a teamComfortable with physical factory workSomeone who takes pride in their workPrevious roll-forming or machine operating experience is preferred but not essentialA forklift licence is also preferred but not requiredTraining can be provided for the right person who has a good attitude and is mechanically minded and willing to learn
These positions will see you working within a brand new busy Distribution Centre/Warehouse loading and unloading trucks for a well known, instantly recognisable company.
This is a fast pace working environment and the perfect place to display your efficiency and experience using a Counterbalance (LF) Forklift on brand new equipment.
What Is On Offer:

- $31.84p/h +OT

What You Will Need:
- Hold a current LF (Forklift) Licence
- Your own reliable transport to get to and from work – essential!
- Have experience loading and unload trucks
- Have experience and understanding of load distribution
- Have a can do attitude
- Fit, Energetic and Enthusiastic
- Experience working in a team environment
- Be available for ongoing Afternoon Shift
