Store Manager – Woodside Emily Joubert Home & Garden Emily Joubert Home & Garden is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our Woodside location. This role is ideal for a results-driven retail leader with a passion for sales, business development, and team leadership, who thrives in a refined, design-forward environment. The Store Manager plays a critical role in driving performance, developing the team, and elevating the in-store experience to reflect our brand standards. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Drive store revenue and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets Identify opportunities for growth through client outreach, local partnerships, and in-store events Build and maintain a strong client base through personalized service and relationship-building Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to improve results Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration Lead by example on the sales floor, setting the standard for customer engagement Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback Operations & Store Management Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and is consistently elevated Maintain accurate inventory practices and partner with the warehouse and buying teams Uphold company policies and procedures with consistency and professionalism Customer Experience Deliver a best-in-class, luxury retail experience Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care Ensure the store environment is welcoming, inspiring, and impeccably maintained Culture, Compliance & Productivity Ensure all business needs and legal requirements are consistently met, including compliant meal and rest break practices in accordance with California labor laws Create a structured, supportive work environment that balances team well-being with operational demands Champion a culture that is warm, professional, and purposeful, where team members feel valued and engaged in meaningful work Maintain a strong focus on sales productivity and floor presence, ensuring time on shift is used effectively to support the business Set clear expectations around professional conduct, minimizing excessive socializing while preserving a positive and collaborative team dynamic Lead with emotional intelligence while maintaining accountability and high performance standards Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or luxury environment Proven track record of driving sales and growing a business Strong business acumen and comfort with sales reporting and performance metrics Exceptional leadership and team development skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for home, garden, design, and lifestyle retail What We Offer Competitive compensation Performance-based bonus opportunities Health benefits (for eligible full-time employees) A collaborative, supportive, and design-driven work environment Opportunity for growth within a growing company Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
