Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role and can be based in any Midwest or East Coast city, close to a major airport. Work will be a combination of work from home and on site at various locations.

As a Material Handling Equipment Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory and equipment management processes, supporting equipment planning, and driving operational efficiency. In this role, you will oversee MHE inventory, develop and monitor key metrics, conduct planning activities, and ensure operational requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively. You will also communicate findings, present recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related quantitative field required. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau for building recurring operational dashboards and decision support tools. Comfortable working with large, imperfect operational datasets across multiple sites and standardizing KPI definitions.

Experience analyzing telemetry, maintenance, and cost data to identify under utilization, excess fleet, downtime drivers, and refresh timing. Ability to translate data into specific operational recommendations for Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and vendors. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for site validation and stakeholder reviews.

Preferred Direct experience working with forklift, industrial vehicle, or MHE fleet data such as utilization, uptime, damage, PM compliance, repair history, or operator activity. 3+ years analyzing MHE, fleet, maintenance, or industrial operations data in warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, or field service environments. Experience with MHE telemetry/IoT platforms or connected fleet systems. Experience with vendor scorecards, SLA tracking, and maintenance cost modeling.

Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/asset management tools. Experience supporting capital planning, refresh models, or replacement business cases for industrial equipment. Understanding of battery/charger data, charging behavior, and energy-related operating impacts for electric MHE fleets.
