Doctor of Medicine | Pathology Location: Hawaii Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pathology MD in Hawaii! Our client in Hawaii is seeking a Pathologist to begin a 120-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a schedule of 8a - 5p, where you will perform duties such as frozen sections, signing out surgical and cytology cases, performing autopsies, and providing clinical consultations to ensure high quality laboratory services. Responsibilities and Duties Perform frozen sections Sign out surgical / cytology (non-gyn) / peripheral smears Perform autopsies Work with clinical lab personnel to ensure high quality laboratory services using best practices in laboratory medicine Support laboratory and hospital quality improvement and accreditation initiatives Provide consultations to clinicians Additional Information EMR: Epic Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology required Eligibility for medical licensure in Hawaii Strong surgical pathology/cytopathology skills and clinical lab experience or experience as a Medical Director of a lab section Excellent leadership and communication skills required Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-residency experience preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
