About the Clinician's Workday The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages in a rural clinic setting three days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing approximately 15-20 patients daily with preventative, acute, and chronic care services. The position requires 8 24-hour pediatric call shifts per month with responsibility for newborn resuscitation, patient stabilization, hospital admissions, and transfer coordination, requiring the ability to report to the hospital within 20 minutes of receiving a call.
The clinician will work collaboratively with other physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes in both clinic and critical access hospital environments.
