General Job Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues. Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients. Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Minimum Education Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required. Certifications: Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). Active and unrestricted medical license in Minnesota.
