Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for adult patients Conduct medication checks and therapy sessions as required Collaborate with hospital staff to support patient care plans Manage an outpatient caseload of approximately 11-16 patients daily Utilize Cerner electronic medical records to document and coordinate care Required Skills: Board Certification in Psychiatry Valid state medical license At least 1 year of clinical experience in psychiatric care Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Proficiency with medication management and therapy procedures Nice to Have Skills: Experience with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings Familiarity with Cerner EMR system Additional certifications in psychiatry or mental health Preferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in psychiatry Other Requirements: Willingness to obtain or hold a state license (preferably IMLC or WV temporary license) DEA registration (in progress or obtainable) Ability to commit to a 3-month contract starting July 1, 2026 Certification in Med Checks and therapy preferred This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated healthcare team with a competitive hourly pay rate of $234.00.
