We are seeking an experienced Pathologist for a 91-day assignment in New York, starting Mar 16, 2026. This role involves a schedule from 8a to 5p, with responsibilities encompassing general anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology, including grossing specimens and cutting frozen sections.
Responsibilities and Duties Perform surgical pathology and cytology procedures Conduct general anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology Be responsible for grossing own specimens and cutting own frozen sections on cryostat Manage a current surgical pathology volume of approximately 13,000 surgical specimens and 3,000 cytology specimens per year Required procedures include Surgical Pathology and Cytology Cytology Proficiency Exam Required for GYN Cytology Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Pathology - Anatomic EMR: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
