The hospital provides comprehensive medical services with robust specialist support including critical care, cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, urology, nephrology, and telemedicine services for infectious disease, psychiatry, and neurology.
Emergency privileges are available to facilitate rapid credentialing for qualified candidates. About the Clinician's Workday The hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient medical care working 12-hour shifts either during day hours (7 AM - 7 PM) or night hours (7 PM - 7 AM). Responsibilities include managing an average census of 18 patients, handling approximately 4 daily admissions and consults, and providing ICU coverage with critical care consultant support.
The position requires ventilator management skills, particularly for night shift coverage, and clinicians must remain available by phone until shift completion. Outpatient follow-up care is coordinated through specialist referrals at discharge.
