The facility maintains an average daily census of 250 patients and processes approximately 50 admissions per day.

The hospital provides comprehensive specialty support services excluding Dermatology, Endocrine, and Rheumatology departments. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients across day, swing, and night shifts at a 711-bed Level 1 trauma center. Responsibilities include rounding on 17-20 patients daily with approximately one admission per shift, managing mixed insurance populations including uninsured and VA patients, and collaborating with full specialty support teams.

The position requires board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with no procedural requirements or after-hours call obligations. EMR training will be provided on the first day prior to beginning clinical duties. Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: 17-20; Average census 250; rounding Census about 18 per provider; 50 admissions total (1 Per rounder) Support Staff: Full specialty support other than don’t have Dermatology, Endocrine or Rheumatology.
