We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for a 60-day assignment in Ohio, starting May 4, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care, including procedures, initial consultations, and follow-up visits, with a consistent 8a-5p shift.
The ideal candidate will manage a busy inpatient service, contributing significantly to patient care within a supportive environment. Responsibilities and Duties Perform inpatient GI procedures Conduct initial and follow-up inpatient GI consults Manage daily patient messages Perform procedures including Anoscopes & Hemorrhoid Treatment, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Foreign Body Removal, Endoscopic Homeostasis & Sclerotherapy, Endoscopic Polypectomy, Esophageal Dilation, Laparoscopy & Liver Biopsy, Mucosal Biopsy, Proctoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Upper & Lower Gastro Series, and Upper GI Endoscopy Additional Information Board Certification in Gastroenterology required Experience with Epic EMR system Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
