Overview: We are seeking skilled General Medicine physicians to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. This PRN role is perfect for providers with a background in internal medicine or family medicine, offering flexible scheduling options—whether half-days or full days—allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.
Exams primarily involve interview-based assessments with some physical testing, without any prescribing or treatment responsibilities. Quick credentialing and onboarding ensure you can start making a difference promptly. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) with unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.
Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine. Ability to perform remote interviews and conduct physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Strong communication skills with attention to detail for completing reports and addendums.
Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams or military health assessments. Certification in relevant fields such as DMA, or additional credentials in occupational health.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and familiarization with government portal systems. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years' experience in general or internal medicine.
Previous experience in veteran healthcare or government contract roles is advantageous. Other Requirements: Local providers only—travel is included in the rates. Must be willing to complete required training and initial exams to qualify for the bonus program.
Availability to start on or around March 6, 2026. No reimbursement for certifications or portal training required prior to onboarding. This is a high-impact opportunity to serve those who have served.
