As a Locum Physician in General Medicine, you will play a vital part in delivering essential health assessments through Compensation & Pension exams and separation health evaluations. Required Skills: Valid Medical License in Texas and current DEA certification Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine Proven experience in conducting clinical interviews and physical assessments Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in documenting findings accurately and efficiently Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams Familiarity with VA or federal medical assessments Experience with telemedicine platforms and electronic health records (EHR) Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice Prior experience in a government or military healthcare setting is advantageous Other Requirements: Ability to travel locally within a 50-mile radius of your practice location Commitment to completing exams on scheduled days, either full or half-days Willingness to adhere to VES protocols and confidentiality standards Must be able to work on PRN basis, with flexibility for ongoing assignments Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $624.00 Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 position) Competitive referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses Support from a dedicated team committed to your success Embark on a rewarding journey by applying today to become a crucial part of our healthcare team serving Veterans.
