Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care Location: Georgia Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care NP in Georgia! We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day assignment in Georgia, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care and family medicine services, with shifts from 8 AM to 7 PM.
The successful candidate will manage a variety of cases, including minor injuries, illnesses, and limited occupational health needs. Responsibilities and Duties Provide urgent care and family medicine services. Manage acute conditions such as colds, flu, strep throat, and COVID-19 symptoms.
Treat sinus infections, earaches, and allergies. Evaluate and manage sprains, strains, minor fractures, and sports injuries. Address minor burns, cuts, lacerations, and perform foreign body removal.
Diagnose and treat skin rashes, insect bites, and minor infections. Manage urinary tract infections (UTIs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Assess and treat nausea, vomiting, and other digestive concerns.
Perform suturing as needed for lacerations. Handle limited occupational medicine cases. Additional Information Board Certifications required in Family Medicine or Urgent Care.
Experience with Athenahealth EMR system.
