Opportunity Details Medicus has partnered with a hospital in western Washington with an opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage. Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (1-2 weekdays & weekends) Required Procedures: General CV/thoracic surgery (open), coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump), and valvular repair/replacement Setting: Clinic 5% and hospital 95% Volume: The daily patient census is 5-10 (0-3 admissions, 2-7 ICU, & 1-2 surgeries) Adults only EMR: Epic Travel: Paid travel expenses are included This is a long-term opportunity in a hospital setting located in a scenic area, offering views of the water and nearby mountains.
