Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice Location: Minnesota Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice NP in Minnesota! We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day assignment in Minnesota, starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves morning clinic duties from 8:30-10:00 AM, focusing on patient check-ins, prescribing ointments and antibiotics, and assessing acute illnesses, followed by on-call availability for emergency situations, allowing flexibility throughout the rest of the day. Responsibilities and Duties Check in boys and girls clinics from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM Prescribe ointments and antibiotics Check on acute illnesses Be on-call for emergencies requiring ambulance assistance See 1-5 patients during morning clinics Care for minor injuries including scrapes, cuts, burns, and sprains Write scripts for conditions such as strep, cold, cough, and flu Send out tests as needed Prescribe penicillin when appropriate No suturing or DEA needed for this role Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
