This opportunity begins on Apr 13, 2026, and offers flexible swing shift coverage, typically 11a-11p, with 10-15 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of recent emergency medicine experience and a commitment to high-quality acute care.
Job Details Location: Kentucky Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 10-15 shifts/month; typical shift is 11a-11p (subject to change, flexibility required) Responsibilities and Duties Provide acute care to patients presenting with emergent medical conditions Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Respond promptly to medical emergencies in accordance with facility protocols Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely Adhere to all relevant state and facility guidelines for emergency medical practice Additional Information Must have at least 3 years of recent emergency medicine experience Required licenses: Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Flexibility to adapt to shift hour changes as needed Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
