Nurse Practitioner | Critical Care Location: Connecticut Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Connecticut! Our client in Connecticut is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 35-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves managing a variety of critical care cases, including central lines, A-lines, and dialysis catheters, within an acute care hospital setting.
The schedule will consist of 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, requiring comfort with both day and night shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Manage central lines, A-lines, and dialysis catheters. Work within a Medical/Surgical ICU.
Provide care in an acute care hospital setting. Additional Information Board Certification required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC). EMR System: Meditech EHR.
