Job Details – Hospital CRNA Job in Greensboro, NC Position: Locum Tenens CRNA – General Anesthesiology (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) Location: Greensboro, NC (zip 27401) – hospital anesthesia jobs in North Carolina Practice Setting: Hospital with 20 operating rooms (general, ortho, gyn, ENT/ophthalmology, vascular, thoracic, neuro, trauma) and 5 Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) locations including Interventional Radiology (IR), Electrophysiology (EP), Endoscopy (ENDO), and MRI suites. CRNAs will float between the 20 ORs and 5 NORA locations as needed. Contract Length: 26 weeks (June 15, 2026 – December 14, 2026) Shift: 5 shifts/week, 8-hour day shifts (07:00 – 15:00); Monday & Friday shifts are high priority Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,412 – $7,125 (competitive locum tenens CRNA pay) Qualifications / Job Requirements Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Active North Carolina state license or Compact license accepted Minimum 1–2 years of CRNA clinical experience in a hospital/OR setting (no new graduates) Current ACLS & PALS certifications Comfortable floating between operating rooms and NORA locations based on case volume EPIC EMR experience preferred (hospital documentation) Experience with cardiac/vascular, neuro, and pediatric cases preferred; not required to manage hearts & lungs for this location Key Responsibilities – Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia care to patients of all ages in hospital operating rooms and NORA locations (IR, EP, ENDO, MRI suites) Manage anesthesia for a wide case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT/ophthalmology, vascular, thoracic, neuro, and trauma Deliver anesthesia services in both traditional ORs and specialized NORA settings, adapting to the unique requirements of each location Operate Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring systems; ensure patient safety and equipment familiarity Collaborate under medical direction with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes Document anesthesia care accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR to meet hospital and regulatory standards Maintain flexibility to cover high-priority shifts and float between ORs and NORA locations as patient volume requires Compensation & Highlights Competitive estimated weekly pay: $6,412 – $7,125 26-week locum tenens contract in a high-volume hospital setting Opportunity to work a diverse surgical case mix and expand clinical experience Supportive perioperative team and access to EPIC EMR Why Greensboro, North Carolina?
