Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Virginia Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Mar 2, 2026. This full-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, mostly day shifts with occasional night and weekend coverage, under a 4:1 supervision model. Job Details Location: Virginia Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Schedule: Full time, 40-60 hours per week; mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts; mostly days with occasional nights; one weekend per month as needed; call shift once every 8 weeks; Sunday through Saturday coverage Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of cases, including thoracic, obstetrics, healthy pediatric dental/ENT, orthopedics, GI, and ENT procedures Manage all cases except transplants Perform epidurals and spinal anesthetics independently Participate in 4:1 supervision model in a multi-facility environment Float between various practice settings as required Ensure compliance with all applicable clinical protocols and standards Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and clinical teams Additional Information Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience required Active Virginia license required at time of submittal or in process Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA certifications required Board certification in Anesthesiology required Pediatric experience preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
