We are actively seeking a skilled Anesthetist to join our client's team in Maine for an 8-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves a predictable Monday to Thursday schedule from 7a to 4p, primarily focusing on scheduled ambulatory procedures with a diverse range of cases.
Responsibilities and Duties Work Monday through Thursday with scheduled ambulatory procedures, ensuring a predictable schedule and workload. Provide standard Anesthetist services within a small hospital setting. Manage endoscopy and colonoscopy cases.
Perform anesthesia for ENT procedures, including sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, and ear tubes. Support orthopedic procedures such as arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, etc.). Administer pain management techniques, including epidurals, nerve blocks, and joint injections.
Assist with minor general surgery cases like hernia repair, cyst removal, and biopsies. Facilitate podiatric surgeries, including bunionectomy and other foot/ankle procedures.
