POSITION DESCRIPTION: Stella, a welcoming private seniors' residence, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to complete its team. Permanent part-time position on a 7/15 shift schedule, evenings (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM) ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with residents for medical visits Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) Delivering messages to the nursing staff Participate in health assessments of new residents or whenever it is required Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions Upon requests from physicians, pharmacists or the CISSS, follow up on residents medical dossiers and prescriptions EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset Good sense of interpersonal communication Good team player Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing Member of the OIIAQ or the or OIIQ BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Uniform provided Referral Program Recognition program Possibility of advancement Sick days and time off for family obligations Vacation Human approach to management A welcoming and tightly knit team!
