The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel join our team.


Job Responsibilities – What you will build:

In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible im

pact. You will:

  • Provide legal advice and support to the Group’s different companies, ensuring the effective management of their day-to-day legal needs;
  • Support corporate transactions and procedures, including company incorporations and corporate restructurings;
  • Draft and review minutes, corporate resolutions, powers of attorney, corporate agreements, shareholders’ agreements and other legal documentation;
  • Support corporate governance processes and ensure compliance with the applicable legal and corporate obligations;
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other legal instruments;
  • Provide legal advice on matters related to the General Data Protection Regulation (G
  • DPR);Support the implementation and review of privacy and data protection policies, procedures and documentation;
  • Draft and review data processing agreements, privacy policies, privacy notices and data protection clauses;
  • Support the handling of data subject requests and the management of potential personal data incidents or breaches, ensuring compliance with the applicable legal procedures and deadlines;
  • Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the Group’s activities;
  • Monitor and support judicial and pre-litigation proceedings involving the Group;
  • Support and monitor compliance-related matters, including the review of the anti-corruption plan and the preparation of reports and other related documentation;
  • Collaborate with the Group Compliance function on KYC, sanctions and anti-corruption matters, whenever relevant to the corporate and contractual transactions under their responsibility;
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities, whenever required.



Job Requirements – What will help you thrive:

You will likely succeed in this role if you bring:

  • Law degree, preferably from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Universidade de Lisboa or NOVA School of Law;
  • Active registration with the Portuguese Bar Association;
  • Between 3 and 5 years of post-qualification professional experience following admission to the Portuguese Bar Association;
  • Relevant previous experience in a law firm or legal practice;
  • Solid experience in Corporate, Commercial and Contract Law;
  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience in privacy, data protection and compliance matters;
  • Ability to draft, review and negotiate legal documentation in both Portuguese and En
  • glish;Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple matters simultaneously;
  • High level of responsibility, autonomy, discretion and confidentiality;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and businessareas;
  • A practical and solution-oriented approach to legal matters, aligned with the organisation’s needs.
