Learning and Development Designer

At CPA Australia, we're transforming the way our members learn. We're seeking a passionate and commercially minded Learning & Development Designer to join our Learning & Innovation team and play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of today's professionals.

This is an initial 12 month contract

About The Role

• Develop, review and maintain learning content across accounting, finance and emerging business disciplines.
• Collaborate with learning designers, content developers and industry experts to create engaging learner experiences.
• Ensure content reflects current industry standards, regulations and emerging trends including sustainability, AI and digital transformation
• Manage learning products through their lifecycle, from concept and development to evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for new learning products and strategic partnerships that deliver value to members.
• Support innovation initiatives and key projects within the Learning Evolution Program.
• Work with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, Member Experience and Quality teams to ensure successful product delivery

About You

You are a technically strong professional with a passion for education and professional development. You enjoy translating complex concepts into practical learning experiences and are comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders

You will bring

• CPA or CA qualifications and experience in adult learning environments will be highly regarded.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: financial reporting, financial management, management accounting, taxation, audit and assurance, sustainability, ethics and governance, AI or digital transformation
• Experience developing, reviewing or managing educational content, training programs or professional learning products.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for innovation.
• CPA or CA qualifications and experience in adult learning environments will be highly regarded.
