Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Merseyside 24/7 Hospital Are you an experienced vet with a passion for both people and pets? An exciting role awaits at this 24/7 Hospital in Merseyside, where you can truly make a difference. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will guide a dedicated team of vets, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care through effective coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse to support the daily operations of the clinic. Evaluate clinic KPIs and P&L to ensure optimal performance and continued success of the hospital. Conduct 1 1 meetings and performance management sessions for staff.

Lead staff and clinical governance meetings. Qualifications Strong clinical skillset and passion for coaching and mentoring. Exceptional communication skills with clients and the veterinary team.

VetGDP qualification preferred; candidates willing to obtain it are welcome. Experience in 1 1 meetings, performance management, and leading staff and clinical governance meetings. Business acumen is a plus but not essential.

Benefits Balanced rota of 38 hours over a 4 day week, with 2:9 weekends. Six weeks holiday per year. Fees paid and contributory pension.
