Job Description
Key Responsibilities Lead HVAC & firefighting design engineering activities for AIS/GIS substation projects. Manage complete MEP engineering delivery from the proposal/pre-bid stage till project execution and commissioning. Perform and review HVAC heat load calculations, ventilation studies, firefighting hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing.
Review and approve HVAC/FF system designs, technical specifications, BOQ, vendor drawings, and engineering deliverables. Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Protection, Telecom, and BIM teams for multidisciplinary engineering integration. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
Lead execution teams and drive engineering productivity, design optimization, and value engineering initiatives. Technical Skills Substation HVAC Design Fire Fighting System Design Ventilation & Pressurization Systems Equipment Selection & BOQ Preparation Vendor Drawing Review & Technical Evaluation Software Knowledge HAP (HVAC Load Calculation) Calnut AutoCAD Heat load, hydraulic calculations MS Office Suite Preferred Candidate Profile Strong experience in substation / power transmission EPC projects. Hands-on experience in HVAC or firefighting system engineering for utility infrastructure projects.
