Lead Mechanical Engineer - Farm & Industrial Machinery Company: Sickle Innovations At Sickle Innovations , we build practical, scalable farm machinery that solves real problems in Indian agriculture. Our focus is simple: reduce labor dependency, improve efficiency, and make mechanization accessible. We’re looking for a Lead Engineer who can own products end-to-end ,from concept to field deployment What You’ll Do Lead the Mechanical design team,NPD's of farm machinery Take products from idea → prototype → field validation → production Manage and mentor a small engineering team Work closely with fabrication, vendors, and on-field teams Drive cost-effective, rugged designs suited for Indian conditions Continuously improve existing machines based on field feedback What Actually Matters Proven experience in Development of Machinery (not just CAD work) Experience leading small engineering teams (4–5 people) Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, power transmission, and fabrication Ability to make decisions with imperfect data and move fast Comfortable working in a hands-on, resource-constrained environment Good to Have Experience in Agri machinery / food processing equipment Exposure to Machine development, Transmission systems, Sheetmetal & Plastics Understanding of manufacturing processes and vendor management Why This Role Direct ownership of Real Machines used by farmers Opportunity to build products that scale across India Work on high-impact, ground-level innovation , not theoretical design Location https://share.google/sMM4XcwtsGVnmYX7I we work 6 days a week
